BJP instigating violence in Dakshina Kannada, alleges KPCC Chief

Udupi, July 9, 2017: Failure of the Police Department in maintaining law and order is not the reason for the untoward incidents in Dakshina Kannada. In reality, BJP activists and leaders wee instigating violence with an eye on the impending elections, alleged KPCC President Dr G Parameshwar.

He was speaking to reporters after visiting the Krishna Mutt here on July 8, Saturday  along with State in-charge of party affairs K C Venugopal. Stating that he did not discuss anything about the recent Iftar row, Parameshwar added that  the Congress welcomes the seer’s move towards peace and harmony in the society.

The visit of BJP State Chief Yeddyurappa to Dalit colonies is mere a drama, he said adding  Yeddyurappa had never strived for the welfare of Dalits when he was in power.

Udupi in-charge Minister Pramod Madhwaraj, Kaup MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake, State Congress Minorities Cell Chief MA Gafur, Udupi CMC Chief Meenakshi Madhava  Bannanje and others were present.
