BJP giving communal colour to Kabeer case : Ivan D’Souza

Mangalore, Apr 23, 2014: Ivan D’Souza, KPCC Secretary has charged the BJP of giving a communal colour to the Kabeer shoot-out case in Shringeri.

 

 

Speaking to reporters here on April 22, Tuesday, Ivan took strong exception to the statement of Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar that it was not acceptable for the government to provide compensation to the family of a person who was involved in cattle trafficking.

He was also critical of the Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader Satyajit Suratkal for urging to withdraw the compensation announced to Kabeer family. He demanded that Satyajit withdrew his statement.

Ivan said the Congress wants an impartial probe into the case and justice to the family of Kabeer.
