BJP comes to rescue of its MP; rubbishes allegations

Mangalore, May 14, 2014: The District unit of the BJP has come to the rescue of its sitting MP and candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel who is now facing the charges of having an affair with a married woman.

The BJP has rubbished the allegations and has said it was nothing but a political conspiracy aimed at tarnishing the image of the MP.

It may be mentioned here that Satish Shetty, a Mumbai based businessman has lodged a complaint at Bunder police station against MP Nalin alleging an affair between his wife and Nalin Kumar Kateel. He also complained that  his life was under threat from the MP.

The BJP alleged that some vested interests were hell bent upon maligning the MP and  had resorted to such moves prior to the elections itself.

Pratap Simha Nayak,   District BJP President, in a press communiqué has said the BJP will fight the case legally.
