BJP accuses Congress of resorting to commission business, stages protest

Mangaluru, Oct 17, 2023: The true colour of the Congress which came into power on the basis of its guarantee schemes has been exposed with the tracing of crores of rupees in the recent IT raids, said MLA Vedavyas Kamath.

 

 

 

 

He was addressing a protest organised by the Mangaluru City South unit of the BJP in front of the Mini Vidhana Saudha on October 16, Monday accusing the Congress government of resorting to commission business.

The tracing of crores of rupees in the residence of a close aide of Congress leader is proof to the commission business, he said.

He also alleged that funds were not being released for development after the Congress came to power.

District BJP President Sudarshan Moodbidri, Mayor Sudhir Shetty Kannur and many others participated in the protest.
