Dharmasthala, Jan 25, 2016: The Ayurjyothi Chariot  aimed at enlightening the masses on the  significance of the Ayruvedic and Unani systems of medicine arrived at Dharmasthala on January 25,  Sunday. Dr D  Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala  lighted the lamp and welcomed the Ayurjyothi Ratha Yatra.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Heggade  hoped that the Ratha Yatra will be able to  instill more faith in the people  regarding  the ancient Ayruvedic, Unani,  Homeopathy systems of medicine as well as Yoga.

Later the Ayurjyothi Chariot arrived at the Naturopathy College at Ujire where it received a cordial welcome from the teachers and students. Dr. Madan Nadig spoke on the importance of the Ayurjyothi Chariot.

Dr  B. Yashovarma, Secretary of S.D.M. Education Society,  B Seetaram Tolpadittaya,  Secretary of Shanthivana Trust, Dr Prashanth Shetty, Principal of SDM Naturopathy College,  Dr Satyamurthi Bhat, President of K.V.U.P. Board, Dr Devadas, District Ayush Officer and others were present.
