The need to mitigate human interference on natural systems has come to the fore with the disaster in Kerala and Kodagu, they said at Vandse Govt Pre-university College.

They have used the walls of the college classrooms of the college to create awareness among the students to conserve nature.

They are the volunteers with FSL-India, Kundapur, who have come out with this unique method to sensitise the students in this regard.

They have used the walls of the college classrooms as canvas to draw pictures on the theme harmony with nature.

“Awareness against the overuse of natural resources has to be created among the younger generations. These drawings serve that purpose,” they said.

The theme for this year’s World Environment Day, ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’,  is also depicted on the walls through drawings.
