Autorickshaw driver dies in road mishap near Bannadi

Udupi, Jan 13, 2015 :  A road accident involving an autorickshaw and a Mahindra Bolero vehicle at Ulpady  near Bannadi on January 11, Sunday night has claimed the life of the autorickshaw driver.

 

 

 

The deceased is Shanker Marakala. The mishap occurred at around 7.15 pm when the Mahindra Bolero vehicle  was negotiating a curve near Uplady. The vehicle was proceeding from Kota while the autorickshaw was heading towards Kota. Though  Shanker Marakala was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Brahmavar, he had breathed his last by then.

The autorickshaw was also badly mangled in the mishap.  Kota police have registered a case.
