Auto driver murder case: Bantwal cops arrest three accused

Bantwal, Aug 14, 2014: The  Bantwal Police who are investigating into the case of murder of autorickshaw driver Mohammad Rifayi have arrested three persons  so far.

Those arrested are Mohammad Asif, Siraj alias Balekai Siraj and Dhanraj. Sources said Asif had plotted the murder while the other two abetted him in the crime.

Search is on for other accused in the case.

It is suspected that Rifayi was  murdered in a revenge killing to avenge the murder of Nausad at Maripalla a month and a half ago, Incidentally, Rifai was the brother of one of the accused in Naushad murder case.
