Auto driver ends life on rail tracks at Thokottu

Mangaluru, Jul 12, 2016: It is sad shock to see reports that an auto driver ended his life by laying on rail tarcks as a train ran over him at Tokottu.  The deceased was identified as Pattori Poojary (42), resident of Asaigoli.  It is learnt that Poojary went to the over bridge and as soon as he saw the train approaching, he allegedly slept on the tracks.

 

Though it is suspected that he took the extreme step as he suffered from financial problems and depression, the exact reason is not yet known.  Poojary is survived his wife and daughter.  A case has been recorded by the Mangaluru Railway police.
