Audio tape row : Never said voice in audio was that of BSY, says Chief Minister

Mangaluru, Feb 09, 2019: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has said that he has not said that the voice in the audio pertaining to alleged Operation Lotus was that of   BJP leader Yeddyurappa. The Chief Minister who has arrived in Mangaluru,  was reacting to the statement of the Speaker that the  voice in the audio released on  Friday  regarding Operation Lotus was not that of Yeddyurappa.

 

"There is a need to investigate.The audio has reference to the Speaker, Amit Shah and Prime Minister. There is a need for a thorough investigation," the Chief Minister said and added that he was ready to order for investigation if the prime minister decides so.

"Yeddyurappa has dubbed it as a mimicry, the truth must come out," said the CM. Asked about the possibility of ACB probe, the CM said "Let us see."
