Attempt to break into ATM at Kundapura, arrest

Kundapur, Aug 16,2016: The Kundapur police succeeded in arresting a man who attempted to break an ATM at Hemmady recently.Shekhar Poojary, a coolie worker at a building that housed an ATM booth.

He got the idea to break into the machine, so he could take a lot of money.

He conceived a plan and went to the ATM booth on Sunday night after covering his face.

He first broke the CCTV camera and then began struggling to break open the machine.

In the meantime, the police on night patrol arrived at the spot. Noticing them, Shekhar fled the spot, leaving behind his footwear. 

The police gathered clues from the spot and later managed to nab Shekhar.
