Udupi, July 30, 2014:  Udupi-Chikmagalur MP Shobha Karandlaje has alleged that the     Assembly session has been adjourned sine die for the very first time in the history of the state just to hush up the denotification charges against the Chief Minister.

Shobha Karandl...

Speaking to reporters at the Udupi District BJP office on July 29, Tuesday, Shobha said  the session has been adjourned just to avert the denotification issue that has created an uproar. Expressing regret over the rising sexual crimes against women in the state, Shobha suspected the hands of influential politicians behind the Ratna Kottari case of Shiroor. She demanded that the district administration and the Police Department  should probe the case without succumbing to pressure from any corner.

“When the Chief Minister and Home Minister themselves are not taking the sexual crimes against women seriously, what can one expect from the Women and Child Welfare Minister Umashree?” Shobha mocked.

Udupi District BJP President Tingale Vikramarjun Hegde, Mattar Ratnaker Hegde and other BJP leaders were present.
