Speaking to the media in Congress office today Wednesday Mar 16, he said that as per the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC ), chief minister, ministers, MLAs are public servants and they can been booked and investigated. Today media and opposition party leaders are criticizing this. There is an advocate general in the state and there are many other advocates and talented lawyers. Has the chief minister gathered their opinions before forming the ACB? The opposition tried to ruin him in the Arkavathi denotification case, he added

Entire nation knows that Siddaramaiah is a sincere CM and he has introduced many good programmes for the needy like Anna Bhagya and milk during mid day meal, said Poojary

Poojary further said, The Lokayukta Act is a power act and this was also said by Rajiv Gandhi. Former Lokayuktas Justice Venkatachala and Justice Santhosh Hegde strengthened the institution. But BJP ruined it and Bhaskar Rao and his son destabilized the Lokayukta. Lokayukta has brought good name to the government. Why should we spoil that name?

Prime Minister is known for fake promises as till today Lok pal Bill and Converting CBI association in to autonomous was not been implemented as per their manifesto.

He alleged Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said he would strengthen the Lokpal - did he do that? Even the CBI was supposed to become an autonomous body, but did he do it? Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje faced allegations of corruption, serious action was not been taken against them?
When asked about row over deputy commissioner AB Ibrahim’s name in the invitation of the temple Poojary said that, every religion is one and AB Ibrahim is god’s child, as this is a secular state what is wrong in printing his name in the invitation?

Former Deputy Mayor Purushottam Chitrapur, Mahabala Maarla, TK Sudhir and others were present.
