An unidentified man found murdered at Boloor riverfront

Mangalore, Apr 28, 2013: An unidentified man’s body was found on the banks of the river Phalguni near Nationals Tile factory, Boloor on April 28, Sunday.

According to the police, the deceased was aged about 35 years. The local residents who found the body trapped to the rope of the wooden jetty near the steamer construction yard informed the police.

 

The police suspect the deceased was murdered and thrown into the river a few days ago as the body was at the stage of decomposing.

The Barke police along with ACP Kavitha, Bunder PI Subrahmanya, Barke PSI Shareef, Bunder PSI Ramakrishna visited the spot and shifted the body to Wenlock hospital for post mortem.

A case of unnatural death registered in the Barke police station and investigation is on.
