Amid Lockdown youth brings friend to his home in suitcase

Mangaluru, April 12, 2020: In a bizarre case reported from an apartment on the Arya Samaj Road in Mangaluru during the wee hours of Sunday, a  teenager was caught smuggling his friend into his apartment in a suitcase. The youth resorted to this queer move after the apartment banned outsiders in the wake of the lockdown.

 

It is learnt, the 17 year old boy had gone out during the early hours in a scooter with a huge suitcase. Later he  reportedly picked up his friend and later stuffed him into the  suitcase and dragged the suitcase into his flat. The security guard of the  building who had noticed  this informed the building association. Later at around 8.30 am when the boy stepped out of his flat with another boy, the building association office bearers and other residents of the apartment rushed out and informed the police.

 It is learnt the boy had stayed alone in the apartment on Saturday night while other family members stayed in another flat. The boy reportedly  told the police that he was not allowed to bring in his friend despite several requests while the apartment association said he had made no such request.

The police later summoned the parents of both the boys.
