Allow children to realise their dreams’

Udupi, Sep 16 2018: Jaimala, Minister for Women and Child Development, said on Saturday that parents should not put unnecessary pressure on children. She was speaking after distributing prizes to children who had participated in various competitions during the Sri Krishna Janmashtami at Rajangana here.

 

Ms. Jaimala, who is also the district in-charge Minister, said that children should be allowed to develop according to their wishes. Parents should not impose their dreams and expectations on their children. Every child had its own dreams and aspirations. Parents should encourage the children in their chosen field. This would help the children to achieve their optimum. Lord Krishna exemplified friendship, peace and compassion. People should follow the teachings of Lord Krishna, Ms. Jaimala said.

Vidyadheesha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Palimar Mutt, and Ishapriya Tirtha Swami, junior seer of Admar Mutt, were present.
