Alcoholic man causes wife’s death in Puttur Taluk

Puttur, May 19, 2014 : As per reports,a regular alcoholic couple, Modenkila and Janaki, who always indulged in petty quarrels, Saturday May 17 they met with dire consequences with the death of the wife Janaki (40) at Surve.

 

 

The circumstances are bizarre as stated by the husband Modenkila: He arrived home drunk and his wife locked the door from inside and refused to allow him in, in a fit of rage he used all his force on the door which gave way and fell on Janaki, she is said to have died on the spot. Modenkila went to Mottethadka and informed his in-laws where his children were spending the holidays.

It is reported that the Police have arrested and accused Modenkila of a crime.
