Akhila Bharata Karmika Sangha hunger strike

Mangalore, Aug 14, 2014:  Akhila Bharata Karmika Sangha President Sudatta Jain, told media that that  Ministers K Abhayachandra Jain, B Ramanath Rai and U T Khader have failed to safeguard the interest of labourers, and  he will stage an indefinite hunger strike in front of the DC’s office in Mangalore, on September 24.

He said that the ministers have been neglecting the demands of labourers. The BJP and the Congress have neglected the needs of the labourers.

Union Minister D V Sadananda Gowda was unable to provide facilities to the district, when he was the chief minister.   Minister Abhayachndra Jain and Vinay Kumar Sorake have turned blind eye towards the problems of unorganised working sector.

He urged Udupi District in-charge Minister to set up an ESI hospital in Udupi district.  The strike will force the government to provide job security and health security to labourers of various kinds.
