Akashbhavan Sharan arrested in POCSO case

Mangaluru, Apr 04, 2019:  Police have arrested notorious criminal and rowdy sheeter Akashbhavan  Sharan alias Charan in connection with the case of alleged rape of a minor who had come for  tiger dance training. A POCSO case was earlier registered against Sharan in  this regard on January 7.

Sharan has been giving tiger dance training. It has been gathered that he had lured the girl who had come for training and had her taken her to a lodge  on the outskirts of the district where he reportedly raped her for three days. The matter came to light after the girl fell ill.

A complaint was then lodged against him  in Pandeshwar Police Station for rape and murder threat. Sharan who was at large since  then has now been caught.
