Air India Pilot Suffers apparent Heart Attack; dies in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: June 24, 2015: An Air India pilot suffered a severe Cardiac arrest and died in a private hospital in Mangaluru on Monday June 22.

 

The deceased, D S Jain (60) was a pilot of Mangaluru- Abu Dhabi Air India Express. The plane landed in Mangaluru at 5 PM and Jain had checked in at a Hotel near State Bank.

After he came to hotel, Jain went for a walk near Nehru Maidan with his friend and apparently suffered severe chest pain. Soon his friend admitted him to a nearby private hospital. Jain was barely breathing and was not responding for the treatment. The doctors examined and declared him dead.

His friend then informed his wife, who came to city along with daughter and took his mortal remains to Gurgaon.
