Agonised by father’s ill-health young daughter ends life

Mangalore, May 20, 2013 : A young woman hailing from Bolpugudde in Kavoor, who was mentally agonized over the ill-health of her father,  reportedly ended her life by hanging herself at her house on May 19, Sunday.

The deceased is Willetha Lima Lobo (26). Reports said her father Walter Lobo was admitted to a private hospital a week ago for treatment of Malaria. It is learnt, she had earlier in the day arranged for blood for her father at the request of the hospital authorities who had said he needed a blood transfusion.

However, when her mother Lucy Lobo called her up in the evening, she did not receive the call. The lady informed the neighbours who peeped through the window only to find Lima hanging.

Kavoor police have registered a case of unnatural death.
