After diya lighting event, stones hurled at some houses of minorities at Kadeshvalya

Bantwal, April 06, 2020:   Residents  of Pratap Nagar in Kadeshvalya Perlapu have alleged that some miscreants have hurled stones  at the houses of people belonging to minority community after the  diya lighting programme of Sunday night.

 

 

 

As per the call given by the Prime Minister residents of the area too had expressed their solidarity in the fight against Coronavirus by lighting Diyas. However a little later some miscreants had hurled a  fire cracker  towards a colony  which has  houses of minority community members. Later at around 11 pm,  stones were hurled at some houses, alleged locals.

Police were informed and Bantwal Rural police personnel had  visited the place  immediately.
