After being humbled in polls, Poojary says there is Modi wave

Mangalore, May 17, 2014: Senior Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary who had to once again face defeat at the hands of BJP’s Nalin Kumar Kateel in the Lok Sabha  elections,  has said that he accepted the mandate of the people.

The veteran Congressman who until recently had been arguing that there was no Modi wave, has now after his defeat admitted that the Modi wave could be seen across the nation.

Poojari has also congratulated the BJP candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel for his victory. Commenting on his defeat  he said one has to accept both victory and defeat with the same spirit.
