Advance ticket booking for Tulu Movie "Dabak Daba Aisa"

Mangaluru, Aug 01, 2016: For the very first time in the history of Tulu movies, advance booking for the movie ’Dabak Dabak Aisa’ would commence in the multiplexes in Mangaluru on from today Aug 1,Monday.

At a press conference, film producer Prakash Pandeshwar said never before any Tulu movie had the honour of advance booking in any theatres.  He also said that English subtitles have been added for the benefit of those who cannot understand Tulu.

Meanwhile, Tulu artistes have urged the Police Department to arrest the culprits who have leaked the Tulu film ’Dabak Daba Aisa’ which is scheduled to be released on August 5.

Tulu Nataka Kalavidara Okkoota President Kishor D Shetty said the leaking of the edited copy of the film will adversely affect the film producers, who have been trying to market their films. The act is a part of conspiracy to weaken Tulu film industry, he claimed.

In places like Karkala and Moodbidri, the film is being circulated through mobile phones, he said and requested the people to come to theatres and watch the films to stop piracy.   Artistes’ Welfare Fund convener Pradeep Alva, treasurer Mohan Koppala and secretary Lakhsman Kumar Mallur were present.
