Adani UPCL grants 30 lakhs to develop police stations in Udupi

 Udupi, July 29,2016: Reports say that the UPCL, Adani Udupi Power Corporation Limited,  on July 28, Thursday announced a grant of Rs 30 lakh for developing infrastructure at police stations in the district.

Adani UPCL Executive Director Kishore Alva handed over the letter of grant to outgoing Superintendent of Police KAnnamalai, at its plant in Yellur village. He also handed over 50 helmets and two computers to Padubidri police station. Earlier, Alva hailed Annamalai as ‘Singham’ of the district for his service within six months of taking charge. He brought visible changes in the district, Alva added.  He thanked Annamalai for extending co-operation for the project expansion activity of UPCL during land acquisition process.  

In his address, Annamalai said that UPCL was rendering exemplary services for fulfilling the power demand in the state. He expressed his happiness for the greenery inside the UPCL plant.  Additional Superintendent of Police N Vishnuvardhan, ACP Suman D P,  UPCL AGM Girish Navada and Pravat Kishore Sundarray were present.
