Adani Group to takeover MIA on Oct 31

Mangaluru, Oct 23, 2020:     Airports Authority of India has  announced that the Adani Group will be taking over the operations and management of the Mangaluru International Airport on October 31.

 

On October 22, Thursday, the Aviation Ministry has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Adani Mangaluru International Airport Ltd  for provision of various  services.

During the past two months a 25-member group of high level officials of Adani Group were in Mangaluru to study various aspects pertaining to the airport.  It is learnt the Airport Director post will remain for the first few months following which Adani Group will have its Executive Director for the Airport.
