Speaking to the press at Congress office on Monday March 21, he questioned whether the killing  two people over cattle trafficking issue in Jarkhand  and the other incident in Uttar Pradesh  wherein a family was pulled out and beaten up to death suspecting that there was beef in their refrigerator,  were not acts of terrorism.

He also said that since the past few years India was  turning out be an intolerant nation which had adverse impact on the development of the nation.
