Actress Ramya faces heat of activists in Mangaluru over her pro-Pak comments

Mangaluru, Aug 26,2016 : Actress and former Mandya MP Ramya who is in the eye of a storm over her recent statement praising Pakistan people  had to face the ire of some people in Mangaluru when she arrived here on August 25, Thursday night to participate in a programme at Kadri. The protestors are believed to be members of Hindu outfits.

 

 

 

 

Even as Ramya was on stage at the function organised by Kadri Cricketers Club on the occasion of Janmashtami, protestors hurled stones, chappals  and tomatoes towards the stage even as police had provided a security cover to the actress on stage.

The actress later left the venue amid tight security soon after the stage function.

Earlier in the day, when the actress arrived at the  airport and was proceeding through Kenjaru, some protestor s had hurled eggs towards her car. Police had  detained  some people in connection with the incident.
