Actor, Billawa leader Rajashekhar Kotian makes foray into politics, joins Congress

Mangaluru, Dec 10, 2017: Dr Rajashekhar Kotian,  actor, producer, director and leader of Billawas in Mumbai, has made his foray into politics by joining the Congress party at a function organised at the TMA Pai Convention Centre in Mangaluru on December 9, Saturday.

Speaking after inducting Kotian into the party, DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai said the party needed  enthusiastic leaders like Kotian and exhorted all party men to strive for the victory of the party in all eight constituencies of the district in the upcoming elections.

Rajashekhar Kotian was also honoured on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion,  Kotian recollected his humble background and said he    has joined politics to serve the  society.

State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies  U T Khader, MLAs Abhayachandra Jain,  J R Lobo,  Moidin Bava, Mayor Kavitha Sanil, District Congress President Harish Kumar and others were present at the function.
