ATM skimming racket busted : 4 accused arrested

Mangaluru, Feb 24, 2021:      The Cyber Crime police officials have arrested four persons  in connection with several cases of ATM skimming in the city.

 

 

 

 

 

Those arrested are   Gladwin Jinto  Joy alias Juntu (37) of Thrissur in Kerala, Dinesh Singh Rawat (44) of Delhi, Rahul TS (24) of Alappuzha in Kerala and Abdul Mazeed (27) of Kasargod.

Police have also seized skimming device, two cars, fake ATM cards, five mobile phones and two Apple watches from those arrested.  The value of the seized goods has been estimated at Rs 25 lakhs.

It may be recalled here that as many as 22  ATM  skimming cases have been reported from the city in the recent past.
