ATM burgling attempt at Brahmavar

Udupi, Sep 13 2017: Burglers attempted to break open a Corporation Bank ATM Machine at Varamballi in Brahmavar and fled from the place when siren got activated.  The incident took place at around 3 am on Sept 12, Tuesday.

The thieves managed to break open the outside plate of the ATM machine. When they tried to open the cash box, the siren started ringing, alerting the neighbours who further informed the Police. 

The CCTV footage was however deactivated by them before the incident said the police.  Brahmavar police are probing on the incident.
