ASI stabbed while dispersing New Year revellers at Bekal

Kasargod, Jan 01, 2019: An ASI of Bekal police station sustained injuries after he was stabbed  while he was trying to disperse a group of New Year revellers who were blocking road and creating disturbance during the wee hours of January 1, Tuesday.

 

The injured ASI Jayaraj has been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru. The ASI was  trying to disperse the revellers when one of them stabbed him.

An investigation has been initiated into the incident.
