AIE lands in M’lore without passenger baggage

Mangalore, Oct 5,2014:  The full load of passengers on Air India Express Dubai-Doha- Mangalore  flight which landed on October 2  night were shocked that all their luggage was left behind at Doha and Dubai.  After landing at Mangalore International Airport, the passengers came to knowthat their baggage had not arrived, which resulted in chaos as the passengers got into a huff with the staff. The problem was solved after the officials promised to deliver the luggage home.

 

The luggage from Dubai arrived on Oct 3 and from Doha will arrive on Oct 6.

 Air India Express flight from Dubai on was on Oct 2 at 5.30 pm. The flight had reached Mangalore at around 10.30 pm. The officials had failed to inform us  non  arrival of luggage. We were in suspense and wasted more than two and half hours at the airport in Mangalore. Majority of the passengers had arrived on account of festival. Many had purchased clothes for the family members the inconvenience was very serious. Reasons are yet to be stated.
