AICTE Chairman stresses need for research cells in educational institutions

Mangaluru, Feb 21, 2020: A three-day International Conference on Advances in Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences (ICAPHS-2020) organised at the K S Hegde Auditorium at Derlakatte under the aegis of Nitte Gulabi Shetty Memorial Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences,  commenced on February 20, Thursday. N Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte Deemed-to-be University inaugurated the Conference.

 

 

 

Speaking as a chief guest, Prof Anil D Sahasrabudde, Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education, said there was a need for  separate cells for research in educational institutions.  He also stressed that the syllabus too must be updated on a regular basis in order to equip students to  keep pace with the challenges of the world.

Prof B Suresh, Chairman of Pharmacy Council of India, also spoke as a chief guest.  Dr Satish Kumar Bhandari,  Vice Chancellor of Nitte Deemed to be Unviersity and others were present.
