AICC leader K C Venugopal has not taken me to task, clarifies MLA Bava

Mangaluru, Nov 09, 2017: Mangaluru North MLA Moidin  Bava has clarified that AICC General Secretary and Congress in-charge of Karnataka K C Venugopal has not pulled up him during the recent  Mane Manege Congress  campaign launched in his constituency.

 

Speaking to reporters here on November 8, Wednesday Bava  denied some newspaper reports in this regard and described the news as false.  Bava also stated that a report that he had  taken back a cheque issued to a beneficiary at the programme too was false.

On the  white flies menace affecting coconut trees, Bava said a meeting of farmers will be held at Govinda Dasa College, Suratkal on November 11 at 3 pm to discuss the issue.  Repellents will be distributed to farmers on the occasion, he said and urged farmers not to spray chemicals. He also distributed cheques worth Rs 6,24,571 to beneficiaries of various schemes.
