AICC Gen. Secretary Hariprasad dubs Hindu outfits as Taliban

Udupi, Sep 04, 2016:  AICC General Secretary and Rajya Sabha member B K Hariprasad has lashed out at the Hindu outfits  and has   dubbed them as Hindu Talibans.

 

The Congress leader was speaking to reporters after  visiting the residence of Praveen Poojary of Kenjur who was recently  murdered by  so called cattle saviours while he was transporting cattle in a vehicle near Santhekatte near Hebri. Hariprasad also handed over a cash of Rs one lakh on his behalf to the bereaved family of Praveen.

Strongly condemning the killing of Praveen,  he also urged the Chief Minister to extend financial aid to his  family.

When scribes drew the attention of Hariprasad towards the statement made by senior leader Janardhana Poojary, he said he will not speak against the leader.

Congress leaders PV Mohan, Shanker Poojary and others were present.
