A 92 year old notification warning people about Flu!

Mangaluru, July 07, 2020: This notification is from the Bangalore municipality of 1918 flu recurring in 1928. It warns people about flu and pneumonia and prohibits them from going to places where there are crowds. It also advises bed rest and more than anything about avoiding constipation!

It even prescribes a dose of Epsom salts if the bowel movement is not regular! A grandmas soup consisting of cinnamon, cloves, garlic, ginger pepper etc. cin. ammoniated quinine is also prescribed.  The grandmas concoction is in lieu of the caq medicine!
