70-year-old pedestrian killed in an accident in Kaup

Kaup, Aug 23, 2017: In tragic incident  70-year-old killed on August 23, Wednesday as Innova Car belonging to Udupi ZP President mows him down at Kaup.

 

Chandru Mestri (70) is identified as the deceased.


Sources said that Udupi ZP Prsident Dinakar Babu was on his way to attend inaugural function of a kho-kho match in school on his innova car. When he reached  Kaup his car rammed against   Chandru while he was crossing the road. Seriously injured Chandru was rushed to Hospital by Dinakar but was proclaimed dead.

 Case has been registered in Kaup police station.
