7 Derik’s Chess School students qualify for national chess championships

Mangalore, Sep 21, 2011 : Seven students of Derik’s Chess School have qualified for the National School Chess Championship, which will be organized by the School Games Federation of India from September 25 to September 29 at Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh.

 

 

The seven students are Nihal Manjunath of St. Aloysius PU College, Vanessa D’Souza of St. Agnes PU College, Andria D’Souza of St. Agnes Girls High School, Reesha Shenoy of St. Ann’s Primary School, Pangal Gopalkrishna Nayak of Canara Urwa High School, Mahima Khandige of St. Agnes Girls High School, and Sinchana Gowda of Jawahar Navodaya in Chikmagalur.
