64th National Level body building and Fitness Championship 2016 inaugurated

Mangaluru Feb 13th 2016: Minister for fisheries, sports and Youth Services, Abhaya Chandra Jain Inaugurated 64th National Level Body building and Fitness Championship 2016 at Nehru Maidan on Feb 12th 2016.

 

 

Two day grand event commenced with lighting up the sports torch by Abhaya Chandra Jain and UT Khader. In his address Abhaya Chandra Jain said that, Body building championship will be platform for the body builders to exhibit the talent hidden in them. Raymond D’Souza , Roshan Ferrao have bought laurels to our country.

He also said that, state government will sanction funds to build a turf football, while government reserved 9 acre of land in kottara for the construction of turf pitch.

Health and family welfare minister U T Khader  Mayor Jacintha Alfred ,DC A B Ibrahim, MUDA Chairman Ibrahim Kodijal, Chairman Sri Devi Education Trust Sadananda Shetty, Director of FMMI Patrick Rodrigues, Raymond D’Cunha and others were also present.
