63 new Covid-19 cases in DK, 17 in Udupi

Mangaluru, Oct 20, 2020:    Dakshina Kannada reported 63 fresh Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the total number of cases in the district to 31,065.

 

The discharges continue to outnumber fresh cases in the district and on Wednesday, 125 recovered people had been discharged.

Dakshina Kannada recorded one more fatality, taking the tally of deaths in the district to 690.

As many as 29,550 people had recovered so far in the district. The district has 825 active cases undergoing treatment in home isolation and hospitals.

Udupi

As many as 17 people were found infected with Covid-19 in Udupi, taking the total number of cases in the district to 22,278 as on Wednesday.

A total of 187 Covid deaths have occured so far in the district.

As many as 31 patients were discharged on Wednesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 21,771, while there are 321 active cases.
