60 yr old Karkala man succumbs to Coronavirus in Mumbai

Mangaluru, April 06, 2020:  A 60 year old person of Karkala roots who had served the Taj group in Mumbai for decades, has died of Coronavirus infection on April 5, Sunday night.

 

The deceased is Ronald D’Mello. Ronald who was in end-stage kidney failure was diagnosed with Covid-19 after he was hospitalised for dialysis. He died a day later.

As  per guidelines, his body was cremated by health authorities as family members are not allowed  during cremation of Coronavirus infected persons.
