54 new Covid-19 cases in DK, 19 in Udupi

Mangaluru, Oct 20, 2020:    Dakshina Kannada reported 54 fresh Covid-19 cases on Thursday, taking the total number of cases in the district to 31,438.

 

As many as 54 patients were discharged. Dakshina Kannada recorded two more fatalities, taking the tally of deaths in the district to 700.

The district has 665 active cases undergoing treatment in home isolation and hospitals.

Udupi

As many as 19 people were found infected with Covid-19 in Udupi, taking the total number of cases in the district to 22,452 as on Thursday, out of these 208 cases are currently active.

A total of 187 Covid deaths have occured so far in the district.

As many as 27 patients were discharged on Thursday.
