5 members of 2 families from B’lore meet watery grave at Murdeshwara

Bhatkal, July 27, 2014 : In a tragic incident five  members of two families from Kamakshipalya in Bangalore, met a watery grave at Murdeshwara on July 26, Saturday.

The deceased are Savitri Ravikumar (37), Sowmya Ravikumar (16), Bhoomika Prakash (16) and two others whose identities are not yet known.

A group of 18   had arrived in Murdeshwar on a trip and had ventured into seas after a visit t to the temple when a strong wave pulled them in. Though all of them were swept away, except five, locals managed to rescue the others.

The bodies of Ravikumar and Sowmya were traced while search is on for the bodies of the rest.
