44 new Covid-19 cases in DK, 26 in Udupi

Mangaluru, Jan 05, 2020:     Dakshina Kannada district recorded 44 fresh Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the total cases in the district to 33,038.

 

The district has 375 active cases undergoing treatment at hospitals, Covid care centres and in home isolation. As many as 36 people were discharged on Tuesday.

A total of 732 deaths have occured so far in the district.

Udupi

As many as 26 people were found infected with Covid-19 in Udupi, taking the total number of cases in the district to 23,139 as on Tuesday.

As many as 7 patients were discharged in the district on Tuesday, while there are 109 active cases.

A total of 189 deaths have occured so far in the district.
