430 grams of ganja seized from a Youth in Udupi

Udupi, Aug 18, 2017: DCIB police in Udupi  on August 18, Friday have  seized 430 grams of ganja from a youth and arrested him  on charges of storing them  near Peramapalli Railway bridge,here .

 

The arrested is identified as Kaushik(19) of Gundibail in Udupi.  430gms of Ganja worth Rs 13,000 and a mobile phone worth 5,000 was seized from him.


Under the instructions of Udupi SP Dr. Sanjeev Patel  police team guioded by by  DYSP Kumarswamy along with DCIB Inspector Sampath Kumar, ASI Rosario D’souza and inspectors  conducted the raid and have been successful in arresting Kaushik. He was later handed over to Manipal police.
