420 new Covid-19 positive cases in DK and 57 cases in Udupi on September 26

Mangaluru, September 27, 2020: 420 people from Dakshina Kannada (DK) and  57 from Udupi tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, September 26, 2020. Eight more Covid-19 fatalities were recorded in DK district today.

As many as 152 patients in DK and 116 in Udupi were discharged from hospital.

With this the total Covid 19 positive cases in the DK district rose to 21,667. As many as 15,946 persons have been discharged and 5,217 cases are currently active. 502 deaths have occurred including 8 on Saturday.

Udupi district has reported 57 fresh cases on Saturday. With this total positive cases rose to 16,034 cases with 1,496 still being treated at the designated hospitals. 14,395 patients recovered and discharged. The district has reported 143 COVID-19 fatality.
