4 of family from Mangaluru die in tragic car mishap at Riyadh

Mulki, Mar 21, 2024: Four members of a family from Mangaluru, including a three month old infant lost their lives in a tragic car accident at Zulfa on the outskirts of Riyadh when they were heading towards Madina from Qatar on an Umrah pilgrimage.

 

The deceased are Hiba (29), her husband Mohammad Rameez (34), children, Arush (3) and Raha (3 months). Hiba’s sister Shabnam and her daughter Fathima (19) who too were in the car have been seriously injured and hospitalized in Riyadh. A four year old boy, son of another sister of Hiba escaped unhurt in the mishap.

Their car had rammed into a divider and overturned.
