4 arrested with lethal weapons at Suratkal

Mangaluru, Apr 02, 2018  : Acting on a tip off, the Anti-Rowdy Squad sleuths led by Panambur ACP Rajendra DS  raided a house at Krishnapur 4th Block and arrested a person. Three machetes were also seized.

The  police had gathered information that weapons had been stored in the house  with the intention of resorting to some disruptive act. The arrested person is identified as Sandeep.

Based on the revelations made by Sandeep, police  arrested Harady resident Akash, Farangipete resident Charan Raj alias Channu and  Dharmasthala Kolpe resident Rakshith at Kuttettur. Two country  guns and 10 bullets have been seized at Kuttettur.

It has been gathered  that  Akash and Prashanth had handed over the two country guns to Rakshith  as per  the instructions of Satish alias Sachu who is presently in Belagavi prison where he is undergoing life term in connection with Suratkal Keshav Shetty murder case.
