350 new Covid-19 positive cases in DK; 227 cases in Udupi on September 10

Mangaluru, September 10, 2020: 350 people from Dakshina Kannada (DK) and 227 people from Udupi tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, September 10, 2020. 9 more Covid-19 fatalities were recorded in DK and 4 in Udupi district today.

Among the 350 new cases in DK, 154 are from Mangaluru, 56 from Bantwal, 26 from Puttur, 13 from Sullia, 48 from Beltangady and 53 are from outside DK district. As many as 170 patients were discharged from hospital today.

With this the total Covid 19 positive cases in the DK district rose to 16,112. As many as 12,412 persons have been discharged and 3,273 cases are currently active. 427 deaths have occurred including one today.

Udupi district has reported 227 fresh cases on Thursday. Among them, 119 are from Udupi, 42 from Kundapur, 56 from Karkala and 10 cases are from outside the district. Now, the Udupi has a total of 13,573 cases with 1,897 still being treated at the designated hospitals. 11,552 patients recovered and discharged including 210 today. The district has reported 126 COVID-19 fatality.
